Step into the figure as more than anatomy—as motion, emotion, and meaning in motion.
This full-day, in-person workshop is for artists who want to deepen their connection to the human form—not just through structure and technique, but through energy, rhythm, and emotional presence.
Working from a live model, we’ll explore how to:
Capture gesture with immediacy and emotional clarity
Tune into the living essence of the figure
Loosen rigidity and engage your whole body in the drawing process
Let go of perfectionism and reconnect to artistic play
Translate sensation into form, and movement into mark-making
Throughout the day, I’ll guide you through warm-ups, demos, individual feedback, and group reflection. This isn’t just about “getting it right”—it’s about sensing what’s alive in the moment and learning to trust your eye, hand, and intuition.
Whether you’re new to figure drawing or looking to reawaken your expressive voice, this workshop is a chance to reconnect with the why of drawing—to make marks that breathe, move, and speak.
You’ll take home more than drawings—you’ll carry the insight and confidence to keep going.
